Tom Cline


Tom provided legal services as needed to the Freeman Group for seventeen years and became General Counsel in 2016. After being discharged from the Army Security Agency in 1973, he went into law enforcement, serving as Chief Deputy Sheriff in Audrain County, Missouri and subsequently, criminal investigator for two Prosecuting Attorney’s offices. He graduated from Park College in Parkville, Missouri in 1986 with a degree in Business Administration and from the University of Missouri in 1988 with a Juris Doctor degree.

Tom’s law practice included twenty-two years as elected Prosecuting Attorney for Ozark County, Missouri and City Attorney for three towns. He also represented various business, including a boat manufacturing company, a plastic production company, resorts, country club and banks, along with many families and individuals.

In 2016, the Missouri State Senate passed a Resolution honoring Tom for his outstanding work as a Prosecuting Attorney and for his service to the public.
