Steve Mohror

General Manager, Victorville, California

Steve Mohror hails from Watertown, South Dakota.  He enlisted in the United State Army in 1972 as an Armor crewman.  Serving thirty years, his assignments included Tank Commander; Drill Sergeant; Platoon Sergeant; Branch Chief of Armor/Cav BNCOC; First Sergeant; Operations Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major.  Notable assignments include Command Sergeant Major of 1st Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment; Command Sergeant Major of 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment; Command Sergeant Major of U.S. Forces Haiti and the Command Sergeant Major of the National Training Center and Ft. Irwin, Ca.

CSM Mohror (Ret) attended every leadership school in the Armor/Cav field, as well as numerous technical schools.  He graduated the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy in 1989 (Class 32).  He holds a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) from Upper Iowa University with a Major in Business.

Following retirement, Steve caught every fish in Louisiana, twice, and then joined CUBIC Applications at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Ft. Polk, LA., in 2003 as a Lead Maneuver writer during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).  As the Lead Maneuver writer, Steve was instrumental in the development of real world scenarios infantry soldiers would encounter during deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.  He served with CUBIC for 3 ½ years.

Steve subsequently joined Freeman Holdings in March of 2006 as the General Manager of Million Air in Victorville, one of the busiest general aviation airports serving the U.S. Armed Forces.  From 2012 to 2018, Steve assumed the additional position of General Manager at Freeman Holdings of Riverside, CA until the growth at that location warranted their own General Manager.
