Pat Thompson

General Manager, Alexandria and Esler Field, Louisiana

Pat Thompson is the General Manager, Million Air Alexandria. Alexandria International Airport is located in the Heart of Louisiana serving Commercial, General and Military aviation customers.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Pat enlisted in the U. S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. He spent 23 years in the Air Force obtaining ATC certifications in the Control Tower, Radar Facilities and as an ATC instructor, before retiring as Director, Mission Control White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Pat went on to become a Department of Defense Air Traffic Controller at Alexandria International in 1997 and became the Air Traffic Manager in 1998 where he received numerous accolades and awards from FAA, DOD and other flying originations and customers.

Pat is married and has three adult children. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Corallines University and is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria, La.

Pat’s goal is to continue to bring outstanding and professional aviation services that the Aviation Community has come to expect from Million Air FBOs.
