Command Sergeant Major Bobby Moore, U.S. Army, retired, hails from Springdale, Arkansas, and enlisted in the Army on August 14, 1979, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, as an armored cavalry scout.  CSM Moore served in every leadership position from squad leader to command sergeant major, with assignments including Dismounted Scout, Scout Section Sergeant, and Squadron Master Gunner in 2nd Squadron 1st Cavalry, 2nd Armored Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Rifle Team Leader with the 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; Tactical NCO with the United States Corps of Cadets, West Point, New York; Operations Sergeant Major of 1st battalion, 13th Armor, 1st Armored Division, Fort Riley, Kansas; Command Sergeant Major of 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor, 1st Infantry Division; Command Sergeant Major of 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas; Command Sergeant Major of the Iraq Assistance Group (1ID FWD) in Camp Victory, Iraq; and Command Sergeant Major of the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. Robert has served in Operations Desert Storm, Joint Guard, Joint Forge and Iraqi Freedom.

CSM Moore has attended numerous military schools, including Airborne School, Jump Master School, Air Movement Officers Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, ANCOC (Honor Grad), First Sergeants Course, Pathfinder Course, Infantry Master Gunner Course (Honor Grad) and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 51). CSM Moore holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Excelsior University.

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star (with V device), Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLCs), Army Commendation Medal (5 OLCs), Army Achievement Medal (5 OLCs), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service medal (2nd Award), Korean Defense Service medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NATO Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (3 Bronze Stars), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Valorous Unit Award, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal Senior Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge and the Combat Action Badge and the Bronze medallion of the Order of Saint George.
